Will the 2018 quota allotment start from Nov or it will only start from Jan?

This a question which only CIC insiders can answer but in case they start utilizing the 2018 quota, then there is every possibility for the ITA counts to increase per draw.

Yes. Not sure where the person who posted that got his information from. It doesn't state anywhere about validity. I would submit the letter and then support it through payslips and the like, just to eliminate doubts.

Since the quota is the number of arrivals and not PR's issued, I would assume that most of the draws from this point forward would end up counting against next year's quota (issuing a CoPR on December 31st and expecting someone to land that day is unreasonable).

I wouldn't mind NS as long as I could make a reasonably comfortable living there. Plus I'm a big fan of lobsters haha

I wouldn't mind NS either, especially since I heard the IT job market has become good over there. But there are relatively few ICT NOC codes, and mine is not on the list.

I am gonna lose 11 points on 3rd Feb as I move from the dreaded age of 40 to 41...Hoping the sun shines bright on all of us & I get an ITA in the next 3 months ( Nov - Jan 2018 ) so that my age gets locked .

Me too. And it's nice to see someone around my age, except you are still a year younger and will still remain safely above 400. I on the other hand will drop to 399 in February if I don't get ITA or at least PNP before then ...

My UK credentials have taken 5 calendar weeks until now and i am hoping to receive report by end of this week. Due date is 12 October.

Due for completion October 30th...I'm starting to lose patience with WES right about now. Everything except for the FBI police clearance (my other black hole) is ready.

Is that because Deloitte set up shop in Halifax? Looks like they're hiring over there. I really don't want to have to deal with the ridiculous housing market in Vancouver, having just left Melbourne for the same reason

Hello guys!

Been back here after 5 draws

Been running pillar to post after my ITA especially for the Indian PCC

Anyways, all good since I received my AOR yesterday.

If you think the wait to get an ITA is difficult. The wait after AOR is just unbearable.

Anyways here are some few tips:
1. Don't wait for your ITA to get your PCC done. Have an estimate of your CRS. If it is +/- 4 or 5, get the PCC done anyways.
2. Gather all documents except bank statement and the photograph.
3. Start believing in God. Cos when it tends to get difficult, in God you can find hope!

Anyways, my tidbits of wisdom is over for now. Hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I have enjoyed sharing it with you!

Does anybody here have any information about Nova Scotia? Is it worthy moving there. I qualify for the program but I do not know if I should apply. currently I have 441 points in EE and I am waiting for next week draw. Should I wait?
