I don't think there will be a draw next week (i hope to be wrong).

69th draw: 16 august CRS 435
70th draw: 30 august CRS 430
71st draw: mid september CRS 425

It looks like they conduct draws whenever they have enough numbers above their preferred CRS cut-off rather than conducting draws at fixed intervals.

Yes you have nailed it. I think they have benchmarked 440, and will wait till the pool fills to those many candidates!

I would wait, you're just 6 points from the ITA. Let's see the next 1 or 2 draws to be really sure about what is IRCC's goal for the rest of 2017.

I concord! They will keep the pool competitive enough in order to make those in canada already have a higher advantage. If you are outside Canada, you need to have strong ties like siblings and do well in ielts! All eyes on ielts guys!

Yeah, exactly. It would be so easy for international students to get 440+ and they have proficiency in English as well as strong tie to Canada. Those are the target for cic.
I.e. A student who graduated from university + 1 yr work + ielts 8777 =460+ is it hard??
But crs can and will drop again to 420 or so when the 2018 quota comes out. But it is just not going to happen this year.

Still it can fall. How can Province give more nomination if they have closed in-take temporarily and what will happen to that range of 601-1000 once they run out of Quota's for this year. Expect CRS to fall down soon. If 3 weeks draw gap can lead to only 1 point rise in CUT off, you can understand the rest.

My guess is that crs will drop again to 420 in 2 months / mid october

Glad to see that there are some realistic predictions here rather than mere optimism. CRS is unlikely to go below 420 for atleast the end of November.

Unless you have all the time in the world to keep waiting , hoping the CRS to come down, please make sure you take the maximum use of a Provincial Nomination that comes down the line
