No bro I don't think so. The scenario is as long as the candidates have scored 67 points and above so they're eligible for permanent residency. We have seen a steep decrease for the CRS since the new program of express entry took place in 2015 the CRS trend was taking its way down from 800 to 413 which was unpredictable.

So, as long as the candidate is within the 67 points of express entry eligibility, he/she would get the ITA as the IRCIC is expected to meet the quota allocated for skilled workers immigrants for this year.
So u mean to say that everyone eligable with 67 points wil get Ita this year, irrespective of their crs points??? For instance am standing at 355, do u think i also a fair chance of getting Ita this year?

I wonder why you left Ireland. I find it so breath-taking, as portrayed in the movie Barry Lyndon. Anyway, I feel nothing beats Millet wine, and Rice liquor (local Nepali drinks, known locally as Tongba and Bhaatee Jaad). A few bottles of beer does me fine, keeps me sober and ready for action later :D.
Simply put, got tired of living with no prospect of better future. Small country with far less opportunity for foreigners. Plus my occupation is not so very much in demand there. Hence i followed my bro-in-law's suggestion and came back home so i can at least gain experience in a skilled occupation and i can be eligible for Canada. Funny as it may sound i was much more eager to go to Canada for my further studies than any other countries. I didn't even know Ireland existed until 2007 WC lol As far as breath-taking scenery is concerned, once you get used it, it looses charm and you get into your daily life and seek for better opportunities. You don't get them or can't get them, other things start to become secondary.

According to analysis of CIC data they are short with 30,000 applications for PR overall. Despite the increase in ITA and decrease in scores they still have significantly failed to meet targets and PR applications are much lower as compare to the comparative periods of the last 2 Years.

Looking into these factors CIC decided to give extra points and relaxing some of its regulations.

Taking this into account in order to meet their targets either they will have to increase ITA's or relax rules for those already in Canada. In both cases I don't feel CRS can go up for a long period. Therefore, we can expect back to back draws in upcoming months and pushing scores down. The mean calculated by immigration specialists suggests the threshold score to be 384, and CRS may come down to this level by the end of this year.

Someone asked a question that if OINP pressurise CIC to move score Up. The simple answer is NO, they are controlled by the Federal State and are required to follow CIC standards and guidelines. Anything related to PR is on the discreation of CIC only.

Finally, I am not active in this thread due to lack of data available at the moment. Once we have latest draw, I will be in a better position to predict scores.

Good Luck to all!
Nice to see ur post and it is refreshing. Hope to c d analysis coming true.
Keep posting and give ur inputs when ever u have

I completely agree with you...
I've had opportunity to try out all except blue label ..and some other scotch too...all in the affordable range around 12yr matured...I like Green label and liked double black and even black too...
Jameson's felt milder....anyway I'm not much of a regular...not that I don't want...;)...kept aside my tastes for times when I have the right company....:p..and place ...
I too like scotch....a lot more than brandies....& Jameson's was an affordable experiment & I liked it...another favorite I Maker's Mark from US bourbon...:p...
--
and all the white rum too.. Bacardi & Smirnoff vodka...I like them all:)...
we should set up a pub someplace and every evening throw ourselves a nice party...all of the ROH 66 alumni....:D
You're taste is much more versatile than mine for sure mate. I was off drinks for nearly 3.5 years after few years of heavy ones which consisted irish whiskey, scotch of course, red wine was a very common site. But the heart and soul of our party were beer. No party in ireland would be complete without binge drinking beer. Oh i got so much memories from over the years. Hoping to make even more after getting to Canada :)

The only downside is that I will graduate in Oct 2018. For the youngsters here, it's no big deal. But as perhaps the oldest poster on this forum, I worry that Canada will stop accepting older people.
Come on.....they won't and they can't....they not only need young people...they need good ppl too...:p...so they are going to let you in...:)

I heard that for work history of spouse can be skipped in the EE profile as no points are claimed, and one can add spouse's work history in the LoE while submitting application after ITA. Is it authentic? Won't it be misrepresentation in terms of hiding info in the EE profile? Someone please clarify this.

Just refreshed the IRCC draw page, and saw the same old score distribution table from 26th May. Gosh, it feels like the last draw took place last year!! Einstein was right, time is relative, after all. It slows down when we wait, and speeds up when we are in a hurry.
I'll call it a day. Meet you guys on Friday!!
