When CIC cannot do a draw on Wednesday, they usually leave it to do on Friday, it will depend whether or not they will be able to solve this problem until then.

Can someone tell me what is the minimum passport validity required at the time of passport request for stamping?

I really hope for a draw this week.we are so anticipating for the next draw. If cic doesnt a draw this week we ourselves may come up with our own draw. But really hopeful for this week

Prepare good points on the topics that are there in the above links. This will help you improve brainstorming so that you don't have to waste any time while completing your writing section.
Make sure you write 2 essays at the end of the day and one letter so that you can work on the time as well.
There are many videos on youtube on writing tips which helped me to achieve 7 band.

Which means, it is okay to do my medicals even before I receive an ITA. That way, I can submit my eAPR the same day that I receive the ITA, since all other documents are already acquired except for medicals.
Writing 300+ words won't be seen negatively....if you've done well with those 300 words ,you are sure to score well...
even I had done 300+ and got 7.5 despite pathetic (almost non legible ) handwriting...I hadn't wrote anything for close to 10 years with pen (except occasional form fillings as part of daily life..) and all I did was 2-3 days and 10 odd practice essays...I was horribly disappointed at the end of my writing session looking at my paper...and was hoping to score less than 5...
I got 7.5 only because of writing enough and bit extra...
I got 8.5 for other 3 sections and overall 8.5 too by God's grace...
If you write a very good essay with 260-275 words, that's fine, last time I got 7.5 with 265 words. So do not worry if you wrote 290 or 300 words. One of my friends wrote 320 words, still got 7.0 band. Good luck!
PS: Be back also coz IELTS result will be known on 16th June.
