To all those who are predicting scores to go down, remember one thing the whole point of express entry to is to be fair with immigration system.
Canada does not want people who don't have good command over English, this is the reason why most people with just under grad degree and under CLB9 remain around 400 points only. This means that if you just have 1 degree and can't write, speak or comprehend English there is very less chance that you would settle in Canada.

There is no guarantee that a persons scoring even 500 points would be successful in Canada, there are lot of other reason like how fast you try to integrate into Culture or if you have close relatives who can support and guide you initially when you land there. That is the reason additional points are allotted to candidates with relative in Canada.

In my opinion, IRCC does not want to invite candidate with low scores, that is going to burden them to process enormous applications, they want candidates to improve English or gain a masters or PhD degree. Next draw would only happen once certain number of candidates reach above their threshold which could be at 410-420.
Let me refresh your logic, are you aware that min. CRS for OINP is going down and CIC itself announced the lowering of the bar to 400-ish through EE still in 2016. when we were expecting it to drop from 450! LOL dude you are seriously spreading misleading stuff. I call for a moderator to stop this. You are an immigrant snob!
Its just a matter of time when it will fall and you ll be eating your own words.

that's hilarious...
I mentioned my score just to clarify that I wasn't responding out of desperation...and ur recent edit doesn't change anything about ur post...one may have had an impression that u wr looking down on the hopefuls just because u wr sitting pretty with a 500, but now this just 'almost' confirms the attitude....
I take ur assessment in the right sense, but this is ray of hope and here we celebrate hope....it would be naive to assume ppl are sitting back just hoping...:)
peace ^2
Can you believe this hahah just dont listen to such nonsense.

Yes, you can do it before getting the ITA. No, you don't need to take the ITA invite with you. You simply tell the doctor that you'd like an upfront medical for Express Entry. I did this, as have many others.

You have to take your passport with you, and if the doctor asks for a photo, that too. Call up your nearest CIC empaneled physician and ask him to confirm that everything I just said holds good in your country.

thanks

thanks.can u explain me what is OINP pls
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program...
these days they are sending notification of Interest (NOI) to freshly created EE profiles with CRS above 400 every Friday...(they pick and choose based on NOC,you may refer to posts in the thread for further info)...I was assuming u might have already received...once u receive an NOI u have 6months to respond and if u accept, within 14 days submit application with all documents to Ontario...and if they accept to nominate,u get addl 600pts and and ITA in following draw..

many thanks. It is very helpful for me I will ask my idiot lawyer .who signed agreement not to call him n send emails.

In my EE profile i have listed all my employers of past 14 yaers, does that mean that i need to provide experience certificate for all the employers.

Or should i remove the experience and bring it to 10 years only.

Please advise.

How much time does it take to do the medicals... I mean if i had gone to the Doctor for the medicals, when can i expect the report to uploads...

they issue NOI to recently created profiles only...and we don't expect the 66th cut off to be 403...So if you are keen on securing an NOI from Ontario, first go through their website to understand their requirements ($1500 non refundable in case ur application for nomination is finally rejected, somewhat tough documentation compared to normal eAPR (FSW)...it is available in their site..
that's why I said IELTS @ CLB 9 will increase ur score by 50+ points...go for it and step on it...:)

Where do you read that sitting at under 410 in the pool and waiting indefinitely make you eligible to get an invite. Not everyone will have an attitude like you, many would try to increase their score somehow and many new pool joiners might outnumber your score thereby making you wait for eternity. Let's be practical here, it's not only about ITA but its about Settlement in Canada which is really tough if you don't have right combination of skills.

just to carry fwd this argument and your logic, there are many in this forum who are below 410 (including myself at 405) and still instead of wasting my time n money on ilets i would rather like to wait till crs would fall to 405 and that will not be till eternity, however, of course other ppl would deff try to increase their score however there are also candidates at 350 and if the IRCC would have any minimum CRS score in mind they would have definitely put that score as a minimum criteria the way ONIP has (400 crs) i agree with xibalban that if IRCC would have any minimum score in mind they would definitely put that on paper, its just about time buddy last year candidates below 460 crs were look like impossible to have ITA and this year even ppl with 400 or even 390 have hope that they will be given ITA

and CRS score will not define your success/ or probability of your success i know many ppl live in canada who are not able to speak proper english or french but till they have been living der more then decades and living comfortable life,,

Thanks andie for keeping calm, we will keep calm looking u calm. That message was just fkn*** piss** off

O boy do I hate know-it-alls! Thanks for the support! This could have become ugly, but decided because of you nice people and this thread not to react anymore to this kind of "wisdom" posts! ;)
