Gurus - if you could be of any help. In the last 11 years I hopped 7 companies and while creating my EE profile, I listed all the companies without realizing that all I needed was my last 3 organizations, and I even got a NOI from Ontario basis the details on my EE. Considering its going to be a pain in the ass to get the reference letters from all these 7 orgs, I am thinking to update my EE profile and remove some of my old experience to avoid the hasseles of obtaining reference letters from all 7. Will that have an impact on the NOI which I have recieved from Ontario? What do the gurus say? Is it advisable to modify my EE now? Btw, I am at 412.

I'm not an expert on these matters but this is what I did:

I listed every job (temporary, permanent and freelance) I had in the last 10 years in my EE profile and got NOI from Ontario in May.

After doing some research of my own and taking the advice of the gurus on this forum, I updated my EE profile and kept only the jobs I was claiming points for.

However, we are required to list ALL the jobs we've had in the last decade in the OINP application which was a pain because some of my employers just refused to write reference letters because I was a lowly temp or freelancer for them. I worked around that problem by attaching every piece of document and even emails I had from these employers.

I still haven't received a nomination from oinp so I can't say if it worked. I'll keep you updated.

Good luck.

Curiouser and curiouser ;)

Newbie here; please help.
Am a spouse to the primary applicant who just accepted a provincial nomination & waiting for ITA. As a dependent, I have about 10 years work experience from 4 different companies. Do I require work experience letter from all the previous company i worked as well? Or is this strictly for the primary applicant only? Can i still change this on EE since i am yet to receive ITA? Please advise. Thank you

Do you have a separate EE profile as a primary applicant for yourself as well?

Dependants don't get additional points for work experience unless the work was in Canada.

You can update your EE profile anytime before receiving ITA.

Good luck.
