Most of those refugees are well educated and qualified people. Who lost their homes because of someone else's war. I have huge respect for Canadian government to let them in. Whenever you think anything like that, remember that you have a home and a shelter to sleep under! They dont, their kids are murdered and they starve to death. Even if they aren't skilled and educated, their generations will. We are all the citizens of one free world. Take it lightly. It's all general speech. Cheers!

Hey Guys,

I am at 407. Expected the scores to drop down in this draw. If draw happens every week then I think it will soon drop down till 400... and even below that.

I have one ques if anybdy can help me here.. My IELTS test date was 30th May 2015 and result date was 11th June 2015. I have applied for IELTS again as it will expire this year. But I have got date of 25th May 2017, so I wanted to know if my IELTS is valid till 30th May or till 11th June. If it is valid till 30th May then will my profile become ineligible?

your result will expire 10th june 11:59 pm utc 00, and ur profile will be ineligible right away.
thats what happend with me on 26 april

IELTS is valid for 2 years from date of test - so 30th May in your case

That is not true. test result is valid for two years from the date written on the bottom of the IELTS result.

Well as a matter of fact, the overall candidates for 401- 450 is declining. Apr 13: around 9000 candidates. Apr 28: 7,178.
There is not much of activities happening between 450-600 (unless off course this mystical 2000 candidates appearing from nowhere :o).
So there is still much more hope for 400+ guys if this declining trend continues. ;D

well the rise cannot be due PNP. if so distribution would show +600 pts populated.

last few draws are erratic, scores fluctuate, but general trend is down.

of course b2b draws accelerate the fall, 2 weeks draws make a kickback. I expect what ever went up, will fall eventually down as equal or more.

I'm glad a draw happened today. A 3 week gap would've sent the cut-off score to around 430. That would've demoralized the rest of us.

Actually anything can happen. Back to back draws will definitely push the scores to lower range. We also can take a positive note on the decrease of people in the range 401-450. Lets keep our hopes high.

Hi guys,

what would you recommend - My CRS is 410 based on following credentials:

Age - 26.5
Qualification - Double Bachelors (ECA - WES)
Experience - 6+ years
IETLS - L9, R8, S7 and W-6.5

I believe, I can get 7 in writing as well, which will increase my CRS to 460+ and next available IELTS is on 13 May.

I think IETLS is just USD 300 game - would you recommend appearing again for IETLS or 410 is sufficient for ITA.

Thoughts please.

It looks like 2369 people entered the draw above 420 between the last draw and the date of the pool data (9 days). If it keeps up at this rate, CRS drops will be very small.

If I were you, I would've gone for it. I know $300 is a lot of money, but a .5 increase in writing will guarantee you an ITA.

It could just be a one off thing - more than 2k people entering the pool in 9 days - due to improved IELTS scores or those who declined PNP. I still have hope that the scores would fall, and not keep rising, in subsequent draws. Good luck to everyone who's waiting for ITA.

it can be due to PNP. The distribution is 5 days old. It is possible that after the PNPs were issued on 1st and 2nd may, the +600 pts might have got populated. We don't have any data about that.
