Someone's score doesnt reflect his/her financial position... otherwise it will also be part of the points Matrix..the money they/ONIP takes is too small for kind of federal/provisional support.. after doing extensive multi country background check per application(including family members)..how much do you think is left for any kind of support anyway?
They don't need to reduce the cutoff because they have enough application above cut off.. with more demand and less supply they are able to select whoever they want.. and this years ONIP NOIs looks like a random selection... people with same NOC and profile with more CSR didn't get NOIs...

BTW they do have their buy-your-way-to-PR program where you have to pay 800k..IMO thats the gold mine..
Please refer me to the party where I talked about people's "financial position". So basically you just agreed with me that there are ample reasons for crs not to drop to incredibly low levels.

I have 434 points. what are my changes? Yet to do my spouse WES, will get 8 more points. It takes 2 months 2 complete her WES ECA. Then mine will be 442.
I am under CEC class and will get 23 more points by July 31st. I want to wait till 1st June to initiate my spouse WES. So by July 31st, I will get her WES points(8) and my canadian experience points (23), then mine will be 465.

Please advice can I go ahead with her WES now?

Wait for the next draw. If it drops again then maybe don't bother with Wes.

The CRS EE entry system is great but it does lack in someways. For example, quality senior managers in the age of 37-45 with a Bachelor's degree cannot get 430+ points. Even though their experience is relevant under NOC classification. This system is designed to favour people with 3-5 years experience after a Master's degree with excellent English.

I really hope the system is reworked to send ITAs to all with 400+ points and PNPs to all those deserving up to 399 points.

By the way, we have reached 23 pages. Any one on this thread with CRS above 440? Last time we had few immediately after March 1st draw, as it was a surprise.

But, let's check this time. With no BC IELTS results till April 5th, chances of significant applicants above 441 are not much. Yes, there would be cases where increase in the CRS due to PNP, increase in experience, spouse ECA etc. But that would not give significant increase in the queue with high CRS.

So far most of the people connected on this thread are between 420+ to 440.

I am with you! Even with 10 years work experience and even if I max out ielts to clb9, my crs is still at 418 because I am already 35 years old, no masters, no canadian experience or education :(

It's because you're supposed to be 29 with a PhD, 3 years of foreign skilled work, 5 years of Canadian skilled work, fluent in French and English, and have no debts. Duh! ;) :D

LOL... and of course that is usually someone looking to immigrate (a little sarcasm here folks)! You forgot no dependents too!

You had me laughing so much! :)

Let's have good vibes for those 430+ for a draw this week! Long shot but you never know!
