Please what is next after the submission of complete application with documents uploaded?

A very loooooooooooooog and painful wait. It's been 5 days for me and it feels like 5 months already. I wish I could just go to CIC and say, "Tell me your decision now and I will get on with my life."

The wait varies a lot. Some people can land within 3 months or so from submission. Others have taken over 12-18 months. Many factors, such as candidate security screening, verification, etc affect the process. The screening process can be quite unpredictable, but they aim to process a huge majority of applications within 6 months. Cross your fingers! :)

The 6 months processing time looked realistic last year. This year they seemed to have doubled the invitations each draw. Unless they have increased staff, the 6 months processing time looking a bit farfetched to me.

Just did an upfront medical exam, I'm sitting at 467 hoping to get an invite this week. ;D

Awesome, hope you are also arranging for PCCs, work reference letters etc. This would save you a lot of time while submitting e-APR post ITA.
Good luck! :)

If you don't get an ITA this next round (assuming not a provincial only round), then all of us below 441 might as well give up hope. Congrats on your eventual ITA!! And best of luck to my brothers and sisters sitting in the "hopeful" zone! :)

Don't give up hope yet!! This next drawing my will be VERY revealing in terms of trends. Hopefully it goes down so a bit so us hopeful brothers and sisters in the 420-440ish range get picked up!

Uhm... I don't know, but I think this could be because they also have to assess the credentials of other thousands of people as well, not just your app?

Like other people have said, if you are running out of patience in eleven days, then you are going to have a nightmare with Express Entry.

I'm sorry for my girly hissy fit :-[. I understand that others have been waiting much longer and handle it with far more maturity.

I just received my PCC from India in one week. Soooo waiting for the draw

I'm pretty old. I listed my entire work history on my form. Does that mean I need to get a letter from every employer if I get an ITA? Or just the number of years that I'm claiming as experience that got points?

Thanks

Hellp tj4Canada, sorry I haven't seen your post earlier. Yes if you claim points for the experience you do need to provide the employer reference letters for those experiences. That was the only reason why I declined the ITA.
Hopefully everything goes well for all of us here.

Good luck everyone

C'mon C'mon CIC. Issue us all an ITA....We will stay near GTA
We all will make you proud... issuing 10k ITA's is not bringing in a crowd !!!

The wait is killing us
F5 ..F5..F5... pressing it is a lot of fuss

If the scores rise ...will make us weep.
some of us have already lost their sleep !!
