totally agree with....in this forum and generally also...only people with score near 430-450 are active...coz they have hopes more than ever before....that is the reason we never find many people with PNPs and Good score active on the forum because they not as enthusiastic and desperate as we are :P..they already know they will get invitation (100% sure) in next draw (when ever it will happen) .. there is one more type people with score less than 410 or 400 are also less active because they are not currently hopeful.... few months back there were tons of people active with score above 470-480, now all of them are vanished....hopefully candidates with score 400 will become more active with CRS will reach somewhere near 410-420 in near future...

i really second your thought. hopefully it will happen.:):)

There's no way they can clear all the backlog. Last time I checked, they still have around hundred of thousands of applications that need to process (09/2016 data). In addition, there's still paper-based PR application for several PNP streams, like BC PNP skill immigration stream. One of my friends still has his paper application in process since December 2015.

Agreed. But those paper based PNP applications will eat the quota of PNP, not the economic migrant of 71,500/- isnt it?

Any ITA calculations should take into account the following factors:

a. percent of ITAs declined due to error in profile/fake-duplicate profiles/profiles made by consultants to keep the cut-off high

b. percent of applications rejected due to incompleteness

c. percent of applications not approved for various reasons

d. percent of visa refused even after applications being approved

e. percent of actual entry against the number of visas issued

These percentages could be significant at any levels. And annual immigration level plans are based on actual admissions/landings/entries.

So given their immigration target for 2017, the current rates of ITA (3500+) do not seem very high

I think the scores will be back and forth between 420-450 throughout the year. And there are broadly two reasons for this:

1). Job offer points going down to 50 and for Managerial Level 200. This has been the biggest reason for low scores. Just see the trend from November 2016 onward.
2). Backlog prior to 2015 is more or less over. I again reiterate, that people getting scores between 400-450 isn't easy. Unless you have Canadian education or Canadian work exp, its extremely impossible to go above 450.

But again, CIC has failed all reasonings that we have ever made :P :P :P :P

Shoot your question.
I wanna know i have one diploma which is on the base of acca 9 papers passed name's advanced diploma in accounting it's equal 3 years bachelor. And sensory I have taken 3 years bachelor from oxford university which I have taken on the bases of 9 paper but for that I wrote seperate thesis. If I will send both to Wes they give me points equal to 2 bachelor or just one bachelor.

How about new candidates waiting for ITA in the pool? Please share your CRS. We had noted few on the link from Alexios. Please do share yours.

Your diploma based on 9 papers won't be counted as a 3 years ACCA bachelors, that's for sure. The reason is, WES has been issuing both 3 years and 4 years bachelors equivalency to qualified ACCA members and there seems a lack of inconsistency at their part, but no way they are going to issue a three year bachelors equivalency for part-qualification. As for your OBU, yes it will be counted as a 3 years bachelors degree. If you don't have a B.Com, you'll end up getting only one 3-year bachelor equivalency for OBU in your ECA.
