Anybody knows about FBI police report?

I have mailed out my FBI application along with fingerprint card 2 weeks ago and according to USPS, it has been delivered and signed by someone on Mar. 13th. Since then, I haven't received anything about the status change of my request. Is it normal? Are they going to send me an email about the receipt of my application materials?

You can call them just to check if they have opened your packet. Ideal wait time is 50-60 days for the report to get generated and another 2 weeks for it to be mailed to you.

why did they include the word MAY in this ?

To get a legal cover in case there are any technical or administrative issues. Legal sentences are usually written like this.

So there are new 3700 applicants with the score higher than 434 who applied during one additional week? Sound a little weird in comparison with the last descending trend.

I guess it is because we entered late. They would probably be sending invitations in batches based on the time since profiles were created.
