Quick question; has it ever gone as far as 4 weeks between 2 consecutive draws ?

It has never happened so neither its yet 4 weeks, this is the 3rd week. Hopefully we got a draw tomorrow

I have completed my EE profile with a score of 459 and like everybody else I am also very excited for the draw tomorrow.

I need your help with the following things post ITA:
1. Proof of Funds: What if I dont have the required funds in my account? Can I borrow it from my wife (she is not accompanying me) or Dad?
2. Proof of funds: I have a loan against my name and credit card debt. Will this effect my proof of funds? What if I dont even talk about or show this?
3. Letter of Reference from Employers: Is there any specific format for that?
4. What if the NOC codes chosen by me in my EE profile somehow donot match with the job duties mentioned in my Letter of Reference (clearly all job duties donot match with one specific NOC code)

you cant borrow money. what you borrow has to be returned. need a gift deed stating the money is a gift to you and not a loan.

that depends on your honesty

your name, job title, duties, hours of work, dates of employment and remuneration and benefits
4. What if the NOC codes chosen by me in my EE profile somehow donot match with the job duties mentioned in my Letter of Reference (clearly all job duties donot match with one specific NOC code)
you have to choose the correct NOC. incorrect noc is a ground for rejection

With a LoE. It's better to put in the correct NOC at the start

Thats what I am confused about. In my mind I have chosen the right NOC. I have not tried to act smart or chosen a wrong code deliberately. I have matched the job duties very carefully and then chosen the code. If anything it would be an honest mistake, if at all it happens.

Secondly, I have mentioned hours per week as 40. What happens if they are more than that?

Secondly, I have mentioned hours per week as 40. What happens if they are more than that?
Nothing will happen. The cap is 30 hours a week. So if you worked for 15 hours a week for 2 years, it will be calculated as 1 year pro rata but if you work for 60 hours a week for 1 year, it wont be considered as 2 years experience.

Ans: Gift Deed from whoever is supporting you with funds is the only solution in this case
2. Proof of funds: I have a loan against my name and credit card debt. Will this effect my proof of funds? What if I dont even talk about or show this?
Ans: All loans held by you in all the banks on this earth have to be declared. Purpose of POF is to make sure you have enough cash ( minus all debts ) when you enter Canada.
3. Letter of Reference from Employers: Is there any specific format for that?
Ans: Not really but the following have to be in the letter: duration of employment, dates of employment, positions held, duties under each of those positions, hours worked, salary, part-time/full-time, on the letter head with a senior/HR signing it with the company stamp
4. What if the NOC codes chosen by me in my EE profile somehow donot match with the job duties mentioned in my Letter of Reference (clearly all job duties donot match with one specific NOC code)
Ans: NOC title does not matter. Match your duties with the NOC code ( 60% match of duties is good to go )

Hey guys, an interesting question. Looking at the current trends of CIC, what CRS score would you prefer. A higher score with a lot of job letters or a CRS near cutoff with one or two job letters?


Of course not everyone has the luxury of managing score to their comfort level. And I do realize that you'll eventually have to mention all of it in the personal history.

Thanks. I think im going to dream about my ITA all night.

I had to wait for 12+ hours for the ITA after the cut-off scores were announced. I was anxious if I was going to recieve the invite or not but senior members of the forum assured that it takes up to 24 hours for the email/message to pop up.

Be strong - hopefully it should be a record low score.
