I am back to give my whatever comments whenever I can ...

Monnike.. I didn't attend. Sent an apology mail of headache. :P

Being with friends for their important day is more important and I can miss a meeting for that

how about this?
my understanding was that it means IELTS is valid till the date you submit all your documents. and then it freezes...

No, they have to be valid until they receive it so just a little more after the application.. you will make it till April.

This thread also has started to bloom like the 55th Ray of hope.
I guess some were watching just like i did till 54th draw then jumped in.

Yes people make some noise.... We are gonna make it... Whatever be the rays.. 56th (for me and many others) and 57, 58... but we all will swim across the globe to reach Canada.

Thanks astral for coming here as well....

I have a question. Should I start for my reference letters ?

If I get the reference letters before the ITA is given to me , will it be accepted. As far as I know, they dont have an expiry date.

Is there any chance of a draw next Wednesday (March 1st)?
Cannot keep waiting for 2 weeks...The tension is too high..

So far it's always 2 weeks until another draw. You might wanna consider watching movies. The hype is real.

Some times draws have taken place in 1 week span as well with crs dropping to 9 points compared to 6 points in a fortnight

The number of ITAs issued is relatively close to the previous one. I am surprised that there is a slight decrease in the number of ITAs given. I think 441 is the score you can get if an EE profile is:

Single
CLB 9
not more than 29 years old
W/ master's degree

Any forecast if scores could rise above 470 in the next draw? The first drop since last year was of 22 points. do you guys think the reverse (and an even bigger difference) could happen next? Begin.

Hi hemant,

Can you give IELTS again and mark yourself in CLB 9 category. That would fancy your chances for ITA even.
IELTS is 7.5 but it depends on what have you got in each category.

As far as ONIP is concerned, you have a fair chance ( as far as I know). The current trend of CRS is falling and it would be foolish of them if they still select the top brass because they are gonna decline it and take the ITA instead.

Highly unlikely. There are no people in more than 441 in EE at the moment. BC and Saskatchewan have given out nominations. If all of them in FSW will accept the nominations, it will come to 1000 + adding 500 for ONIP which is not yet done i suppose.

So the rest will be around 2000 (but this will be if everyone accepts the nominations) which will have to be filled by EE so it would come to atleast 438.

My prediction 436 with 3800 draws.
