I think this has become a longest thread for the ray of hope :)

potentially the most crucial one, so many people actively waiting in 440s.
I might not make it in this draw but All the very best to you guys.

Sorry off topic, can you plz share your experience with the listening section of ielts, how you manage to answer the multiple questions, specifically?

Thanks for the wish buddy... I just wish we also join you today ...(knowing that's nearly impossible) but it does bring us together.

Kudos to the group

Many of us are looking forward to the result of the next draw not only because our score might meet the minimum cutoff but also to support the fact that the downward trend will continue.

I really hope there is a landslide and the score drops to 438 due to less amout of people in the 440-447 range. I keep positive and I believe anything is possible. We need to always be proactive in our persuit to have the audacity to hope for what seems impossible in the most challenging times! This group will make it. I believe it wholeheartedly!

I just studied the Cambridge IELTS books from book 4 to book 9. Helped me a lot.
And be honest.

I was scoring 8 in the mock exams, I finally got L -9, R -9, W - 7, S - 7.5

I don't know why you chose to this very thread when this is the most requested topic now.

To answer your question. Practice. Its the key. When you practice, identify why you commit mistake. What were you thinking? Why didn't you hear? are you lost? Didn't you know the meaning of the word or sentence? Then after that you will know how you will improve yourself.

I practiced, from youtube exams, IELTS Ryan, IELTS Liz. (search these)
although on the exam day anything can happen. I feel I lucked out. To be really honest.

yea the most crucial aspect of the draw today is understanding the trend. I strongly believe CIC is eyeing on breaking all the records this year. Never thought express entry will overshadow oinp in terms of giving hopes to those above 400

Can't agree more. Many of us are here to witness if the scores are coming down. If yes then by how much . Then next rounds will start their permutations and combinations.

Anyone who has more than 435+ dont sleep now.

We don't really have a clue. Let's all remember that new profiles are made after every draw and those profiles can be with higher scores than the previous draws. Some profiles have expired and re-created.

I am at 449 guys, if it is less than this draw. Does it mean I 100% get it? or is it random or what? because on 8th of Feb it was 447 and I didn't get it and everything was active :S can anyone explain to me ?

You sure everything was active? EE account and Job Bank both. If yes then you are one person who suffered the software glitch.
You could have mailed them about that.

And if the scores come down, you will get it for sure today.
