Some offices will close soon after noon tomorrow. Hope that CIC is one of them.

I think its mostly private offices. However, I really think the chances are really narrow. I mean for a draw to happen tomorrow

Alright dude think of express entry as a recruitment agency for canada. Now they will recruit people who know canada better, are familiar with their culture, know how to survive there and have invested time there. Now a student who has spent 4 years in canada is definitely a better candidate than student with same degree but has never stepped in canada. With these new changes they have justifiably given a little bit of advantage to students, now on other side if u score good in English, have a good degree u can compete with these students easily. Its a fair process.

Right bro I don't say system is altogether faulty. The only thing is that if category specific draws occur at regular intervals,I think it would help all

I second you on that. I myself have spent more than 2 years as a PhD student in Canada. Everyone here should actually acknowledge the efforts made by Canadian government to allow people from all around the world to enter the pool and have equal chance of applying for PR. Now who comes out first depends upon how valuable you can be to Canada.

You see an advert for a job that includes full training and support. You apply but are rejected. The reason? You need 3+ years experience. How do you get the experience unless you get the job?

It's the same with Canada and how some of you guys are saying it. How do you get the Canadian 'worthiness' without first somehow getting to Canada? Especially if they offer some support when you get there? It doesn't mean you won't be amazing at the job, it just means that guy who worked in that other place for a year doing passable work will get hired before you.

Well, What I meant is being a Canadian educated student alone is not enough to get an ITA. You have to get a Canadian job and work experience first. If you are not a worker, you are not eligible.

Absolutely Right, and that is why in my opnion CEC should beel given PR first as they have made it through the face of getting job in Canada. Then canadian educated students should come and should be given PR , as they have shown that they are serious about staying here or atleast they have shown it by acting not by sitting home at some other country. And in the end , the candadites from other country with no canadiam work experince or education should be entertained!
