This might be a bit personal, but why would a British passport holder need to get Canadian PR/Citizenship?

As per the commonwealth agreement, you can get a Canadian work permit and PR quite easily.

Check for CIC IEC. It has UK in the list of Country. I don't know much about the program but worth looking into it.

Nope, only worked out we wanted to live there forever about a year in. Lmia was refused so we left. Now we want pr. Been waiting since Dec 2014... Hoping the next few months will happen

I was in a Bad place in 2015. IBM therapy after being kicked out of Canada. When OINP was released we didn't crest new accounts so we weren't sent an invite. I wouldn't have been in a real start to apply if I'm honest.

Now I'm healthy and happy and ready: D
