The email just says that you have a new message in your MyCIC account. Email does not say anything about ITA.

That kinda sucks. With all the random ghost emails from CIC, one will never know till one logs into CIC. If they sent an email saying - You have an ITA - We could just forget about this and go have a beer and not worry about constantly checking!

If someone gets an ITA, besides getting a notification on the CIC website, do they also get an email saying that they have an ITA? Or does the email just say that there is some activity in the CIC account?

I think the email just says that there is an update and you should check your account.

What if CIC has suspended EE draws without any prior announcement for sometime or permantly? never know.

Not sure permanently, as in theory that is the immigration process and only a change in government etc could alter it... and there's been no national emergency... unless you count close proximity to Trump...

I remember reading somewhere on this forum that before it comes on the CIC website, it comes elsewhere in some other website as news. Any idea where that could be?

Ridiculous. How can that be true? How can a private website posts the scores before a government website?

Let me search for that thread. What I read is that CIC sends out a press release or something and this site seems faster than the official CIC site to post it. The private site knows it when everyone else knows it. Its just that CIC website is just slow by 10 min in updating. Let me see if I can find it..

Though Im sure no draw yet because of the diapointment Im feeling, it did happen on the 43rd draw.....I kept on refreshing the cic website but in my husband's office people already knew

I just search "ministerial Instructions" on Google, click the first link, its the official one. The 2nd expandable section on the site has the official draw (as of writing its the 24th August draw details). Based on recent draws, it should happen ~1pm UTC tomorrow.

That would be me! I couldn't post links at the time. That's the official place the invite volume and score cutoff is announced, as far as I'm aware it'll be there first before anywhere else.
