To those who say scores will go down: you're right
To those who say score will increase : you're right.

But! Scores will not go down to 46*. They will keep fluctuating in the 47* bracket, up and down until reach 480 and then they will fluctuate some more etc. But overall they will keep increasing and increasing. Canada would want them to. It means Canada will be getting "better" candidates and it's fair. So, as an old guy who hasn't created a profile yet and who is seeing the door closing, increase your scores if you can and do it quick.

Good luck to all

What did you select in the "Provinces and territories of interest" section of your EE profile to be considered for an OINP NOI? Everything or just Ontario related options?
Only Ontario and BC. I do have a strong preference to these two provinces.

And I am curious, if you choose everything, will that affect the possibility of being nominated by a province?

It is understandable that people choose to believe that cutline may go back to 46X. There is indeed a small chance that it can happen.

But for all candidates who havent push your CRS to the max (at least 10,10,9-writing,9-speaking)), please do not sit and wait. You need to take actions to push it further immediately.

For those candidates who already had no headroom to increase, just relax and do not lose hope.

It happened to us too. We got invite even at 11 months for CEC. We declined the invitation since technically we didn't meet the eligibility for CEC yet on that invite. If you will still get the minimum score for today's draw considering your ACTUAL years of experience, don't decline. But if no, then I believe you have to.

Guys!! this is confusing is it mandatory to have 3 years of experience in primary NOC my friend has 2.5 years of experience in primary NOC and 1.5 in another NOC (both skill type B so total experience will be 4 years right?) he got marks for full 3 years foreign work experience and got ITA and currently waiting for COPR what are the odds of rejection?

no, not mandatory to have 3 years in primary NOC. IIRC you can have it across multiple NOCs but all of them should be in the list of acceptable NOCs i.e. belonging to class 0,A, or B.

Both are skill type B and acceptable NOC but from different sectors (Banking and Medicine)

Sorry, I'm being naive here but multiple experiences do qualify, right? . Many people are going at lengths that PR will be declined if the experience is short of 15 or 20 odd days that's why I'm getting confused here too, my case is of 2.5 yrs in primary NOC(current medicine sector) and 1.5 years in another NOC (banking sector) this is valid right?

I guess they have only one current experience which is the deciding factor for them and I should not be worried about it.
The cumulative experience across both NOCs should be greater than 3 years. Apparently there have been cases where people with a few days short of 3 years were only given points for 2 years. Your cumulative is 4 years, so you don't have to worry.

It means Canada will be getting "better" candidates
Not necessarily "better". That's subjective. Younger for sure. With all factors being constant education, IELTS score and 3 years experience a 28 year old has a big advantage over a 34 year old.
