CIC has been totally different and erratic this year. Now, what can u imagine as a reason for no draw - considering a mandate for a higher intake target! One thing that's apparent is that CRS cutoff has been certainly been kept artificially high to compel people to accept PNPs. That's only my hypothesis.

I got 462, but because of my birthday it will reduce to 457 on Nov this year, do I have chance or not? Any ideas? :)

Thanks alexross and not your donkey king for taking the time out to reply .

Just thought of sharing a long story - I had a score of 441 on June 5 2018 and as the draw was cancelled Score remained high and on Aug 8th the cut off was 440 but Alas by birthday decreased my score to 436. I used to follow Ray of Hope draws 89. 90 , 91 etc fiercely and was super sad. Then I did my masters here in the USA from Aug 2018- Aug 2019 and now I will do a fresh WES report adding my masters and spouse. Keep trying guys and never lose hope. I felt terrible last year this time due to my age and cut off but kept working toward my masters. Similarly if my masters evaluation is delayed or unfavorable or if express entry is cancelled or changed after election, I would appy for Australia or work in India. Just saying always be happy and try hard never look back ! Just a long rant after $1 Mai Tais at apple bees :)
A US Master's gets evaluated really quickly. It'll probably take them less than two weeks after receipt of your documents. Speaking from experience.

This is called luck. .. .. Ppl who doesn't believe in luck must visit this forum .. . . Totally fckd up.. .. When I started with express entry stuff. . . 457 was like just create profile n ITA is in your pocket. ... But now i feel like giving it up now work for better life here only. .. It's mental torture

Not true. I'm American with a Masters from the US, and it took 5 weeks for WES to finish their report.

Folks,
I need your advice. I'm stuck at 450 and with current trends and unpredictability of CIC, I don't see the score going below 455 this year, this too if there are few back to back draws. I can increase 6 points by maxing out IELTS and increase my score to 456, however, with the current trends I don't see that as a safe score too. Luckily I have age on my side as I'm just 24 and I'm planning to do a PGD from Canada now.
However, I'm confused as I've three years of experience already, if I do my PGD, in the same field in which my work experience is, would CIC still consider my earlier experience?

I'm totally devastated . Delays of WES had a very big impact .. I have got wes on 6th and score jumped to 463 . I thought I was very lucky to get the report just before the draw . But by this skip ,I'm sure that scores will jump 460 + .. I'll loose 5 points by Aug 18th and will be back to 458 ..I'm hoping for a draw for the next 9 days and if not I'll call it quits :(

Don't loose hope guys. One of my friend had almost given up on Spouse accompanying, but he took one last chance for his wife to have IELTS, meanwhile, he got PNP from Ontario, and he was almost prepared to spend 1500$ extra for additional points. Now, his wife got CLB 9 in IELTS score. So, now the wife is primary applicant (coz she is 29 years and my friend is 32 years) and they are sitting comfortable at 469 from 454 earlier. Everything happens for good. Just wait for your time.
