My crs is 456 with husband. Any chance of making the draw before 15august? we lose 5 points in August cos of birthday. Should I wait and see or look at giving another shot at IELTS to get a perfect score?
I was at 455 and I took a new IELTS test and now i’m at 461. You should!

Just got the official TRF from IELTS today in the mail. I will lose 5pts end of July.

Oh really?? Have taken CD IELTS in Jalandhar bfore?

Tht would be great if there will be only few people on this Wednesday.

I guess it's because not many people know about it yet. It's pretty new. I think they just opened in March or as early as January.
Yes. It's quite new and peaceful. Most of the people still prefer PBT over CD in Punjab so they get very few candidates.

@Seniors need your advice over here:
I am 26 years old (no age issue right now) with ECA as Bachelors and 3+ years of work experience. I have also maxed out IELTS(15/12/2018) (LRWS, 9,8.5,7,7.5) so presently my CRS is 438. My profile is in pool since 20 Feb 2018.

To increase CRS I have also taken admission in Annamalai University (PGDCA), simultaneously I have been actively applying in colleges in Ontario.

Hopefully, in a week or two I'm expecting an admit from Georgian College.

Please suggest which route should I take.

If I wait for Annamalai University I'll get transcripts and all in July-Aug 2020 and then ECA will take another 2-3 months after which my IELTS will expire(Dec 2020) and I'll need to re-appear.

On the other hand, If I successfully get admit from Georgian, classes will begin in Jan 19 and since it is also 1 yr course (with break) I'm planning to complete it by Sep 2020. I guess ECA is also not needed for it so I'll be getting ITA straight away.
How is it that your IELTS is maxed out with score of 438?? I have the same profile, just turned 25, and my score is maxed out at 441, with CLB 10 ( LWRS , 8.5,7.5,9,8)

Could you also share some info about the courses you applied to in Georgian College? Although my profile went into the pool on the 6th of June, I am still exploring options for the increasing the score

I'm commenting based on some observations here. I do not have an active profile yet as I'm still waiting for my ECA to be able to create one.

There is a ghost update already in someone's profile dated June 15th about not being invited, then we are assuming that their profile didn't make the cut based on tiebreaker. I cannot remember their CRS score, but the cutoff will be at or +1 their score. Most probably their score.

Edit: spelling
Where to check this in the profile?!. Can I have this checked in mine?!

Nah, too tired to explore after 3hrs exam,dear..Hahaha, Just went back home straightaway because we had long drive as well...I'm not very good at long drive unfortunately.

Oh wow. My brother in-law just got married in April. How recent was your cousin's marriage? Hahaha

Yes, only an hour drive from Jalandhar,if no heavy traffic than only 45mins.

I will sit for my CD IELTS exam in Jalandhar this Wednesday. That's the closest CD IELTS centre from Nawanshahr. Thank GOD for that as I hate long drive. :D
Ohh! Hahah..:D talking about my cousin, she got married 5 or 6 years ago and currently residing in Canada.
Good for you that such centre is easily approachable for you. Unfortunately, Patiala lacks these futuristic centres and thus, one will have to leave for other parts of the state or Chandigarh to sit for the exam!
Looking forward to that now..

BTW, I too have heard that CBT IELTS centres in Punjab are generally less crowded. Many have claimed that there were hardly 3-4 candidates in those centres during the exam, making the environment quite peaceful as compared to its other counterpart.

Atlast, All the very best to you dear! Once you're done, kindly share your experience with us and keep us updated with the outcomes. :)

Haha..I was just thinking maybe if ur coysin just got married recently, there is a small chance she might be married to my brither in-law, hahaha..

Hopefully, there will be CBT IELTS centre when u are ready to take ur next IELTS test. So you don't have to travel far.

Yes. I hope tomorrow will be a peaceful exam environment for me,too.

Thank you for your warm wish, dear. I will surely update how my test go and how my result will be. My speaking test is on Thursday so I'm going to practice speaking with my husband for a bit now.

I'm checking out guys. I'll be checking in again soon.

Hoping ECA in September and a profile immediately.
If I get master's, 461
Otherwise 2 or more, 453
Brother there are only 7 points difference between master and two or more. so recalculate your score it should be 460 with master if you are calculating 453 with two or more
