So, someone copied my post but quoted unrealistic numbers. Unfortunately, average intake application is 220-250 per day not 145. We have been noticing this trend after January 30th draw.

Let’s wait for this Wednesday, you’ll see the clear picture. The above analysis is not true at all.

Hopefully there's a draw this Wednesday, eagerly waiting to ask this question after the draw - "I have <insert score here> and I have not received the ITA" :D

I've heard one thing about the CIC and that is, as long as your first name on all of the documents is correct, there won't be any issue.

However, to be on the safe side, get an affidavit ready for it and also get it notarized. Besides, attach it along with the LOE. It would suffice to sort out this issue of your partners.
Thanks!
I’m thinking to only add this if requested. It is very obvious on the passport that it’s him and the only real difference is an additional space in the last name on the passport.

I saw some video which said if you wrote way more than words they feel like you are being distracted from actual idea... which might be a negative....
Not really! In my final exam I wrote nearly 300 for task 1 and more than 300 for task 2, still I got 7.

The thing is that, if we write more and more, then the possibility of making mistakes also gets high and yes the chances for distraction as well. However, if you are aware enough what you are writing about, then you can still claim 7 or more bands. The minimum word limit is only 150 for T1 and 250 for T2. It has never been mentioned that you cannot write more than that!

Hi All,
I got the below data from one website

Express Entry quick facts, from January 1, 2015 to May 15, 2019
  • Launch date: January 1, 2015
  • First draw from the pool: January 31, 2015
  • Most recent draw from the pool: May 1, 2019
  • Minimum CRS points required for selection in the Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC): 199 (May 26, 2017)
  • Minimum CRS points required for selection in the Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC): 413 (May 31, 2017)
  • Minimum CRS points required for selection in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC): 413 (May 31, 2017)
  • Largest number of invitations to apply issued in any one draw: 3,923 (April 12, 2017)
  • Fewest invitations to apply issued in any one draw: 143 (May 26, 2017. Note: This draw invited candidates with a provincial nomination only.)
  • Largest decrease in CRS points required between two consecutive draws: 273 (from May 22, 2015 to June 12, 2015 draws)
  • Smallest decrease in CRS points required between two consecutive draws: 0 (on three occasions)
  • Longest gap between dates of two consecutive draws: 35 days (from April 17, 2015 to May 22, 2015 draws)
  • Shortest gap between dates of two consecutive draws: 5 days (from May 26 to May 31, 2017)
  • Total number of ITAs issued in 2015: 31,063
  • Total number of ITAs issued in 2016: 33,782
  • Total number of ITAs issued in 2017: 86,023
  • Total number of ITAs issued in 2018: 89,800
  • Total number of ITAs issued in 2019 (to date): 31,750
  • Total number of ITAs issued since system was launched: 272,418
As per the above data in 2018, 89800 ITA's were issued even though they had plan to issue around 76000.

As per my understanding for this year target is around 81000. If they keep the last year's trend then we should expect atleast 93000 ITAs ( it can increase also)
this year.

So, I guess they will have to increase number of ITA's because 15 * 3350 = 50250 (to be issued in 2019)+ 31750 (already issued Itas) = 82000 ITAs are less by atleast 10000.

If they don't give more that 81000 ITAs which is their current year's target then nobody can help...

Hope they continue last years trend..

Please correct me if I have missed something
Their target of 81000 is for people to be immigrated, not for the ITAs to be issued. Obviously, the number of ITAs will be much more than the target they've set.

Ok. That's almost double the words that we are expected to write. I have been struggling with this. Last time I wrote my IELTS, I score 7.5 and this time it was just 6.5. I am kind of confused of what approach I should be using for this.
I guess it depends on the flow of the essay. I could not have written any less because it would compromise the points I made. My second essay was entirely based on my personal thoughts and experience. The topic I had was..

Some people like to socialize with people of all ages, whereas others like to communicate with people of a similar age bracket. What are your thoughts and what do you prefer?

That wasn't the exact question word by word but the basic meaning of it.

Lost 5 points yesterday. Please, update my points to 447.

How do we know that website is under maintenance ?

This is exactly my concern. Last three weeks gap resulted in 457, why will this three week gap result in any less.
And might even result in higher than 457.
Yes you could be exactly right do To this gap of normal draw and of the no of new candidates I too think the cutoff could be of a much higher end in. Range of 452-462, lots of fake profile even the other day one of my fiends simply regsistered on the website with his imaginary ielts scores and Wes result 476 and I was thinking like this how many profiles because of this lot of eligible people are denied opportunity.... they should introduce some mechanisms to stop this

Oh god, I hope not. Am sitting at 460 and will lose 5 points in July. But yes I am getting a bad feeling about the draw.

For fake profiles, I thought they ask IELTS registration number when creating EE profile, how do people fake that.

What? Can't your friend use this to calculate the score?

IELTS number can easily be faked. It's not verified until AOR. The same is true for ECA too.

The only way this can be curbed is by putting in validation at the time of profile submission / update.

With everything digital these days, why it's so difficult to validate whether or not an IELTS score is valid.

I got my PCC on 20 Dec, ITA on 17 App, AOR on 3 May.

Thus, PCC was almost 5 months old. Is that an issue?
No. You will be ok with that PCC
