It won't be wise on their part to stretch the gap beyond three weeks. What was the longest gap so far in the history???

They would have anyway planned two draws in Jan so sooner the better.
We had a 5 week gap draw in May 2015 (don't know the reason) and a 4 week gap draw in Jun 2017 (reason-change in the CRS point system).

The first draw in 2018 happened on Jan 10. But it was a Wednesday.

May be in the new year, they are changing the day at which draw happens. I do not know. It has been too long.

Any changes to the scoring ? I read some place that some people in their 450s received emails on Jan 1 st saying they are no longer eligible. Could be coz of the amount they entered in How much miner in CAD will they be bringing along.

Could that be linked to this delay ?

Wild one I know ..:D

Could be the reason, as they have not yet updated the new fund requirements for 2019 in their official site.

Anyone knows when it got updated last year?

I just got some info on last year's update to the fund requirements. It happened on Jan 5th, 2018 before the 1st draw of the year. So, maybe we would have to wait for that to be updated before we have a draw.

I have read that in 2019, IRCC were planning to uncrease the number of ITA around the year ( though they mentionned that it will be increasing over the year) it will jump from 3900 to 4150/4400 by the end of 2019

Given the number of candidates in the 14th pool, people above 450 were 414.
I wonder if the draw is based on the numbers of invitations or point based
If on number of people required i believe that the cut off will be cut
If the draw is based on a point system, i believe that the number will be cut, considering the gap between 19 December till today

And this hasn’t been updated for the current year yet ??
