Back to Back chances are more during holiday period. December (this year) will most likely see a back to back and the tie-breaker is biased towards the older profiles, so profiles created "immediately after" 20 December 2018 could have an advantage in case of tie-break (as seen last month). But this is way too forward looking, but being prepared always helps. There are people who lost the tie-breaker by a day also. Something to think about based on today's cut-off that could set a trend for the coming rounds.

Any chance of increasing the number of invitations per draw ?? When was the last time they increased the no of invitations per draw.
If your Birthday coming after Jan23rd you are good to get ITAI am sitting on 447, and have a birthday coming at the end of January
and as I see, most of the predictions are 446+ or even 450+. so I'm losing hope
what do you predict about the cut-off of the round after this one, on 23rd will be?

I would have helped us if CIC updated the pool numbers by score range more often. I know it is too much to ask, but given the transparency they have it would have been easy for them to update the pool stats, providing the range and number of entries in the pool. That way only the date is a variable and anyone could have guessed the cut-off a few days in advance.
To me WES doc policy could be a savior in the first couple of months, as I see on other threads there is dilemma with Univs in India not willing to send transcripts direct to WES and the other evaluation agencies have delays on the higher side. Based on that alone 446 cut-off seems reasonable. Should know anytime now !

It should hit 4000+ sometime soon in the coming months. I just looked at the Dec 14 stats published in the above link and it did look a bit scary.
There are 414 entries with 451 and above, but I am not sure if the stats are for 2 or 3 days as the time snapshot is missing (the deviation could be large based on what time the data was collected on Dec 14).
Assuming 2.5 days, that means 165 entries per day with 451+
So abhishek, with all his rich experience, might be right after all with the 450+ predictions Fingers really crossed now.

It is going to be 7:45 AM EST in US and last night, I saw dreams of the draw. I woke up like 3 times. Now, I need to get ready for work. I guess I will check once I reach office.
