What is the ratio of rejection?

how many files are refused average?

http://www.4shared.com/get/304457696/ebad2fd7/statistic.html

if u submit all documents properly, there is no chance of rejection in PR ( everything should be real not fake)

Dear Saed,
The document is encrypted.

Like avneet said,

The chance is very near to zero.
Real papers and degrees. Simply no rejection !!

The ratio seems to me like: 1:1000

People who usually got rejected have previously been failed to demonstrate their skill to other bodies. So to CIC, that legacy just followed in.

We did this, we confirmed that CIO did receive our application, and right now its past 90 days since they received it, and CIO in NS has not given any feedback at all.

Are we rejected or not? we hate it that our application is in limbo, and no way to move on.

What to do?

Not quite, overall in 2009 CIC received 386,169 applications, 266,957 were approved, So %30.89 were refused or withdrawn.

Of the 30.89%, I suppose the vast majority would be those who have not complied with CIC's requirements. This could be by way of job description not meeting the NOC requirements (i.e. post 26 Feb 2008 applications), leaving fields blank, not signing documents, insufficient points, etc.

From the reading of other threads, I also see that applications are also rejected or returned for reasons outside the typical. Among those I have seen are;

a. Problems with Credit Card payment deduction; and
b. Perceived lack of language proficiency.

There may be others and, while it may represent a smaller percentage, it would be good to identify them, so that future applicants can avoid these.

Thanks PMM.

Temasek,

Obviously right you are. People who have flaws in their application and full docs would be rejected anywhere.

look n see

hi so why dont members list all the reasons they know or have seen about the reasons... so we will know ?

We heard from Canadian Embassy people that the rate is actually 50-50 for those with complete documents and qualifications. So even if you are qualified and give complete documentation, you will still have to flip coin once your application reaches an officer for approval.

And every step of the way, they will look for every little reason to reject or return your application.

Right now, let's give up on Canada. Their economy is going down the drain together with Europe and the US. So for us here in Asia, especially for India, we will have better life here in the coming years.

Go Asia!!!
