I am a signalling Engineer from the uk and am fairly well qualified to do what i do, reasonably specialist.

My wife and I are looking at moving to Canada and would like to know what we need to do but will study this website and others for that, in the mean time.... Which companies are there to work for in my line of work? It looks like everything is run by two companies like British Rail used to run everything in England.

Does anyone know anything which may help me or perhaps some websites / Canadian railway forums where i may be able to find a job offer?

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
You mean like http://www.viarail.ca/en_index.html ? You can sign up for their job alert or just send them an applications I'm sure. That's the only one I know of here. People don't take trains that much here except local trains and subways like http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/ and http://www.gotransit.com/ Most ppl fly or use greyhound.
