Hi .frends ..cn someone help me to guide about asyllum in canada.am punjabi boy from india .i am visiting hong kong to cuba .i hve overstay in toronto.i want get assyllum during stay.my frend told if i spoil my docs during stay then i cn get asyllum pls guide me wht i need to do on airport.thanks

Spoiling your document is a bad idea and will only create problems with your refugee application.

To be successful in claiming asylum, you need to prove that you have a well founded fear that prevents you from returning to your home country. To be approved, you will need to provide hard evidence to back up your claim.

Hi all,

Please help me for following.

1. We r in US and want to apply for refugee on canada land border. my wife's uncle is citizen and can come to the border to receive us. are we eligible for the claim as per safe third country agreement.

2. do we also face US immigration before reaching Canada border and if yes can the deny us to move forward even we fall under safe third country agreement.

3. if we are eligible what documents do we need to present at the port of entry.
