After signing up on a friend's laptop and completing my application, I am unable to sign in on mine to monitor it. Has anyone experienced this? What is the way forward?
 
use incognito mode. if it doesnt work, close the incognito window, open a new one, and try again

Nothing to do with the laptop, everything to do with CIC's temperamental website :D .

try to change browsers, often when I cant log in using chrome I am able to log in using microsoft edge

And then I get an email about an attempted sign in and a link to follow if it was me. The link doesn't open.
 
if u made it on ur friends laptop his browser may have saved the password, confirm u r using the same one or try to change it
