Hello guys, after being admitted into a post-secondary institution in Canada, I'm currently in the process of applying for a student permit. I have but one question, while I was filling the IMMI1294E form, they asked me to state when exactly I will start my program and when I will finish. Thing is, I have two acceptance letters from my school, first I have to take the English language preparatory program which will last 7 months (for me it will last a lot shorter than that since there will be like a placement test that I will take beforehand) and the other letter contains when I will start my professional program and when I will finish. So what do I put? Currently I filled in the start date as the starting date of the English program and the end date as the ending date for my professional program, do you think that's a valid input? I mean, eventually I will send them my letter of acceptance and they will be able to see it more clearly.
