Hi all,
I am currently working on a closed IEC-Young Professionals work permit in Alberta, which expires on 22nd of November 2020.
My boss has already submitted the LMIA application a week ago and I'm not sure whether I should apply in advance for a new work permit, which I assume
gets rejected or am I supposed to wait until a certain stage of the LMIA application so that I can add that information in a seperate work permit application.
All I want is to gain some time and keep working until the LMIA gets approved.
Are there any risks involved in this approach?
Thank you!
