Questions regarding the job offer supporting documents

Hi,

I am kind of confused as to the requirements of job offer. On the Express Entry, it is stated(https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/offer-employment.html):

Your job offer must:
  • be recent (usually less than 1 year old)
    • You can’t use the same job offer letter that you used to get your work permit.

On the Alberta Express Entry document checklist, it is stated(https://www.alberta.ca/assets/documents/lbr-aaip-express-entry-stream-checklist.pdf):

Alberta job offer/employment contract

• Upload your current Alberta job offer or employment contract.

However, on the AOS document checklist, it is stated(https://www.alberta.ca/aaip-alberta-opportunity-stream-eligibility.aspx#jumplinks-6):

Your job offer or employment contract must be signed by you and your Alberta employer and must offer:
  • employment for 12 months or more

I have a LMIA work permit and my contract states that my term will last for 24 months, starting from my first day of work, which is a year ago. For your information. my contract was made when my employer applied for LMIA.

  • If I want to apply for Express Entry, does that mean I have to get a new job offer from the same employer since my contract was made for my visa? If so, how long should the duration of the new contract be? I've heard somewhere that it should be permanent.
  • If I am applying for AOS, could I use my current contract since they only state that the offer should last for more than 12 months?
  • Similar to my second question, could I use my current contract when applying for Alberta Express Entry or should I get a new job offer like Express Entry?

It seems like each stream has different specifications but I am not too sure if I understood correctly.

I would appreciate if anyone could help with my questions.
