I am an Indian international student in USA and recently completed my bachelors. I am planning to apply for Study permit to Canada as I got accepted to a graduate program in Alberta. Would there be a problem if I apply for the study permit from USA? Or, do I have to go back to India to start the process?
Also, if I am applying from US what would be the best way to show proof of financial support? Would having the proof of my bank account details/statements in US be enough?

Thank you!

You can apply from anywhere, but you mist show ties to your home country and make the officer believe that you will go back to your home country after completing your studies that is the only issue with applying from a third country.
Bank statements are fine should be 4-6 month or check the requirements.
