Questions regarding Schengen type C Visa

Urgent! Hello everyone,

Please I need your support with info on traveling to France, I plan on visiting in July:

1. If you have experience with traveling to France with RTD and PR card, did you apply for Schengen type C Visa?

2. How did you obtain the travel insurance? Was it through the consulate or another way? Please let me know where and how.

3. Did you encounter any issues while traveling to or from France? If yes, please share

4. How long was/is your visa valid for as a first time traveler to France?

1 You will have to apply for schengen visa type c (tourist visa) fill the visa application on the France website then proceed to book appointment with VFS
2 There are many travel insurance companies in Toronto..i didnt do it via VFS
3 The border officer asked me some question and asked to see my hotel reservation and also my bank balance to verify if i have sufficient funds for my trip
4My first visa was 1 month with France, My second visa without PR card with Netherland, i got one year visa

When you applied for both times, were you a PR or just protected person with TD?

no PR...just protected person.....I only got my PR last month
