I'll be landing in Canada in a few days and am trying to fill out the PR Card application (IMM-5444e) to save time at the airport.

I have some questions:

1) What is the date when I become a Canadian Permanent Resident ? Is it when I first land or when I received my CoPR, or something else ?

2) Is it okay to give a relative's address as my 'residential address' ?

3) What's the difference between questions 19 and 21 ? 19 asks for your address history while 21 is asking for your travel history. Aren't both asking the same question ?

4) Question 24 wants my SIN number, however I don't get that until AFTER I enter Canada. So do I leave this question blank ?

For new immigrants you don't have to fill anything. The landing officer will do all the paperwork for you. You can give your relatives address and change it afterwards via calling IRCC.

Are you sure ? Because in another thread I was told that having this form pre-filled will save me time at the airport.

"If you are a new permanent resident, you do not need to apply for a permanent resident card. One will be sent to you automatically. If you did not provide your Canadian mailing address when you became a permanent resident, you must send it using our online tool within 180 days of immigrating. If you do not, your card will be destroyed and you must apply for a new one and pay the $50 processing fee."

I'm pretty sure that I'm sure.
