My fiance is a Canadian citizen and I am an American citizen. We have been together for 6 years and would like to marry and then live together in Canada. She has a high enough income to support the two of us in Canada so we would prefer for me to come up there and live together during the process. Is this possible? What would be the best way to go about this and how long would the process take? I would like to be able to work as soon as possible. Would bringing my car and a couple of computers complicate things for me crossing the border; what should we say when crossing the border?
