Questions on sponsoring while on disability

I am on disability. I know it's possible to sponsor my partner while on disability, but can it affect your disability benefits? Can it cancel them altogether?

If my partner and I marry but the spousal application has not yet gone through, does my partner still need to account for any money they have to my social worker even if I am not going to be receiving any of it? and even before they receive their OWP and are working?

I am confused on it and although I have asked, I am still not sure of the answers, or perhaps it's not being explained to me properly.

If you marry, it's possible that benefits might be reassessed, if they are related to the overall family income.

Not a question for an immigration. Contact your social worker or relevant provincial authority.

There be able to sponsor while on disability you will have show how you can support yourselves. Is your partner working full-time? Do they have savings? You say partner. You have to be married or common law to sponsor.

I already understand what you need to do in order to sponsor someone etc.

I was asking more specifically if anyone's disability changed due to marrying someone you sponsored, (assuming they did not have any kind of significant wealth). And I mean changed right after marriage, and before an OWP and before your spousal was approved.

It's not necessarily an immigration question, but there is no other forum similar to this one to ask.
