Hello everyone.

I have questions on some required documents which I don't currently have, but they may be available to me in sometime later.

1) Letter of Acceptance: I only got the email pdf from university. Still haven't received the letter by mail (and I asked them the status of the letter by mail). Can I attach a printout of my university letter to quicken things up?

2) TOEFL: I have a valid TOEFL score (107. Taken on 2nd March 2013). But due to some problem I haven't received the scores by mail and have asked them for duplicate copy which may arrive God knows when. So is TOEFL/IELTS score necessary in application? Can I attach the webpage printout which shows all my score and identifying information?

3) Do I need to add experience letter from my office as I have mentioned in the 1294E that I'm employed ? Getting that one will be difficult for me.

4) Should I attach my personal bank statment (cuz I'm employed) in addition to my sponsor's? Should I attach my past pay slips?

5) I got my sponsor's 6 separate bank statement for the past 6 months. The account holds a certain fixed amount and its not my sponsor's salary account. No transaction has been done in this account for the past 6 months but the amount deposited there is enough to fund my education and living expenses. Is such an account, and its statements acceptable?

6) Do I need to attach my sponsor's bank letter in addition to the 6 separate statements?

7) Affidavit of support: What should and shouldn't be mentioned? I wrote name, father's name, nationality and passport number of me and my sponsor, as well as my sponsor's current job company, posting and job location. I didn't mention his home address. Should I get a new affidavit mentioning mine and my sponsor's address or ask a cover letter from my sponsor containing the missing information? I am already attaching the employment letter of my sponsor which contains his office address and phone numbers.

8) Is a copy of passport of my sponsor required, seeing as he is a foreign national rather than being a Pakistani national?

9) Education documents: Both original and photocopy required?

Its a long list but I just need help. I tried CHC and they just hung up the phone after saying "write us in email". and my last mail was delivered 10 days ago and received no reply. Gerry's international doesn't help either since they are forbidden by CHC to guide about anything. So it's you guys I'm seeking help from.

1) scanned copies of letter of acceptance are fully acceptable, some don't even send via courier letters...

2) webpage printout will not work, (i did it)... You should send them your password and ID and they will verify it...
I did it this way after they asked it and everything worked out well, received my LOA after a while...

thank you. That solves two of my questions.
Anyone got answer to my employment letter question?

3) experience letter is not necessary, even if you are currently employed but if you can get one, it will probably be good..
Certainly won't harm you ;)

1). I suppose you may attach a print out of email and letter of acceptance
2) Look at the checklist^ what is there? Original or copy? If ever anything.
3) Checklist?
4) If you wish
5) Is that amount on the account since the beginning of those 6 months or it was transferred there recently?
6) Why not?
7) yes, of course, sponsor’s contact information MUST be on that letter. Also the reasons why he sponsor you. Did he sponsor any of your siblings or cousins before?
8)Copy of passport- a must. Otherwise how VO knows that he is not a fictitious character?
9) Checklist?

9) Checklist?

1) I asked the grad school about it. Lets see what they say before I do anything about it
2) The checklist says "STRONGLY RECOMMENDED: IELTS test results taken within the last 24 months". (Doesn't tell whether a copy or original is required)
3) Its not mentioned in the checklist. But since I did fill the "EMPLOYMENT" section of the IMM1294E form, I suppose I have to give some proof. I'm thinking of adding my current payslip (it shows my designation, place of posting, duration of my service etc. Along with that, I'm going to attach my original offer letter that I received two years ago. What do u say to that?
4) I got my letter and statements from bank. Will attach.
5) The amount is there since the beginning of those months.
6) Will do
7) What "Contact Information" should be in a Affidavit of support from a sponsor, can you kindly tell?
8) I will attach passport's copy, in addition to my sponsor's employment letter
9) About the academic docs, the checklist says originals are required. But in another list I got from Gerry's visa service, it says both original and photocopies of academic docs are required.

Thanks for the help :)

2) Are you talking about the University request for admission? :-\ I am talking about VISA OFFICE requests and VO checklist.
Does VO ask about language test results? :o

3) Job offer is not relevant here. Just a letter from employer about you current job and duites. Duties should be relevant to your intended course of study.
5) That's good.

7) Home address and phone number. A letter from his employer, maybe?
9). See 2). Does VO ask for academic docs?

2) No I'm not talking about the university. I'm talking about visa office checklist. i got this checklist from a Canadian commission authorized visa service (Gerry's visa service) and IETLS requirment is written on it. I also found it strange. But just to be on the safe side, I'm going to attach a webpage printout containing my score. I can't wait for the official scores to reach me.

3) I can not get any sort of letter from my employer. Its totally out of question and that's why I'm worried because if later in the application process they ask for it, what am I gonna do about it. So right now, I'm just sending my current payslips, and my offer later.
7) I'll do that. Thanks
9) Yes. its mentioned on the guideline website of CIC.

Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it.

i got this checklist from a Canadian commission authorized visa service
look then at www.cic.gc.ca check list for student permits. And follow it. and ALSO- if there is any- a checklist on the site of your VO.

I can't wait for the official scores to reach me.
Have not you had it already when you applied for admission at the university?
9) Yes. its mentioned on the guideline website of CIC
There is nothing about academic papers: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5483E.pdf

Maybe on your VO site then?

I requested the TOEFL score directly to my university because I knew they would reach me late.
Any idea about employment letter? What happens if you don't mention your employment at all?
