Hi Everyone, I have a few questions about the form IMM5532E.

Part A, Question 1: Sponsor's Employment History.
It asks for 5 years of employment history. During the last 5 years, there were times where I was a student, and there were times where I was doing paid internships while I was a student. Then after I finished my studies, I was employed full time in the US.
My questions about these are:
1 Do I write all amounts in CAD?
2 What should I write for the periods where I was a student. should that be "unemployed?" (Examples on CIC website Here. just search for 5532 on the page)

Part A, Question 5: Address History.
I took a trip to Saudi Arabia for Hajj (Muslim Pilgrimage) for a month. I don't really remember the exact addressed of the hotels I stayed at, as it was varying. I stayed 20 days at one place, and 10 days at another. Do I need to include this in the address history too?

Part A, Question 1: When was the first time you met in person?
Here, I don't know how to write an answer for 'Describe the circumstances of your first meeting'.
So far, All I have is - Ours is an arranged marriage. I met my spouse at her parents' home when I visited them to meet her, and her family in person .
Is that satisfactory?

, I could not write the arranged marriage part like you said, but the form asks for that a few questions further anyway (Question 8 a), and I need to write it there. so is it even worth it to omit that here?
I just wanna know your thought process for this one.

For address history, you don't need to include the pilgrimage - that's just a trip, equivalent to a vacation. If you had to leave your country in order to get there, then you should put it into travel history, but definitely not address history. I visited Canada for 8-12 weeks at a time, but I was still just visiting and not living there so that went into travel history, not address history.

For the meeting, I believe there is a question later that asks if the marriage was arranged and to provide details. So you can definitely put a short description under that question (like you said, you met her when visiting her and her family with the purpose of meeting her) and then later on explain the circumstances in more detail under the arranged marriage question.

Address history is for places where one has lived, not everywhere they traveled. OP was just visiting here for a pilgrimage so that goes into travel history (if they had to cross borders), but not address history.

What’s wrong with putting down it’s an arranged marriage? Where you from ? What’s your culture background ?

I don't see what's wrong with putting down the truth, arranged marriage, in OP's case.
I think it's pretty common in certain culture. And CIC understand it.

That’s what I mean,,, depending on the person culture and where they are from and your wife should be no problem

Yeah, there's no problem with arranged marriage. They can put it in both questions, and then under the second (Was your marriage arranged?) there's the big box where they have to explain in detail. CIC accepts arranged marriages from cultures where it's common, it's not an issue.
