Questions about personal ids when applying for citizenship online

Hi, i have a question about personal Ids when applying for citizenship online.

I didnt see any specific requirements on how to take photos of my passport, does that mean as that I can just take a photo myself (rather than scanning them), and as long as it is visually clear, that is fine?

Yup, no need for a scanner, as long as it's readable, IRCC will be fine with it.
