Questions about Option C print out

Hey all!

Quick question about the Option C..

So going through the Document Checklist for sponsor (Me) it asks for the Option C print out for the most recent taxation year. I have not worked in Canada since 2005 but I do have rental property out there. So will I have a print out?

From what I know, yes, you will need to provide something that shows you're not bankrupt or receiving financial assistance from the government. I'm in the same boat as you, so I'll provide tax returns from China.

If you had been filing your T1 tax returns, you will get the option C. Otherwise, you don't. Call the international tax service office of CRA for details. They accept collect calls from outside Canada.
