Questions about OINP Student Stream job requirement

So it says this:

In order for your application to be approved, the job offer must be effective the date that you are nominated by the OINP, if you are already working for the employer in the approved employment position; or if you are not, on the date you obtain a work permit and begin working in the approved employment position.

I have a permanent job offer which I am currently working. I plan on applying for the OINP student stream when it opens up soon. My PGWP expires December 2021.

Is there any chance this can apply to me even after my permit expires? Like my job offer is permanent, does it still stand after my permit expires and allow me to apply for the OINP?

2) What happens if I get a nomination but my PGWP expires or is expiring before I get an invite?
