Questions about obtaining citizenship and then moving out of country for a bit...

Hi,

I'm currently a PR Holder, obtained PR status in March 2017. I will be applying for Citizenship in April 2020 (will put me over the 1095 day mark, I've only traveled out of Canada for 10 days in the last 3 years). I know it takes about a year to get citizenship at this time, based on waiting times listed. I may want to move back to the USA for a little bit to take care of some family things after obtaining citizenship, but want to move back to Canada after.

My question is:

As long as I stay in Canada and wait for my citizenship to go through, can I move back to the US and always move back to Canada afterward?

Will I have 2 passports/dual citizenship as an American Citizen and Canadian Citizen?

There is no requirement for you to stay in Canada AFTER you gained the citizenship.

I thought I had it for life after I obtained it, but I wanted to confirm. Now would I always have to stay up to date with passport updating and stuff in order to keep my citizenship active, or will I always be a citizen once I complete the process? I'd most likely stay up to date with my passport anyways, just curious.

Once a citizen, always a citizen except if you have a rare case where they revoke your citizenship. Normally, once you are a citizen, always a citizen

So basically, I could apply as soon as my 1095 days are up, then I can leave for up to 2 years (by then my Citizenship would be completed, at least I would sure hope so). So I'd be able to apply, move to the US and take care of my business, and then come back with no issue? This is good to know because I was thinking I would have to wait until I'm a citizen to go take care of my family stuff. As long as I can attend my duties WRT citizenship approval, I should be okay then?
