I'm sorry if these concerns seem silly! I'm new to this forum and trying to research what I can about partner visas and sponsorship for when I plan to apply in a few years. My girlfriend lives in Canada while I live in the US (we are a same-sex couple). Because we have reached our one year, we talked about the possibility of me moving up there a few years from now and she suggested I look into applying for pr and have her sponsor me. Neither of us have any desire for her to relocate to the us due to the fact that she has a far more stable, grounded life and well-paying job. I, on the other hand, have little binding me and am willing to relocate for her. In the year that we have been together, we've been traveling back and fourth to see each other every month-two months for 3-5 days at a time. From what I've read though, conjugal relationships are the hardest to prove to immigration. I suppose my question is this:
Would applying for conjugal sponsorship within the next few years be worth it for us?
If not, should we possibly get married instead and apply for spousal?
