Hello guys, I have a question about PPR for a closed work permit. I have a W1 visa and a closed WP, but I have resigned the job from the previous company. My new employer is applying a new closed WP for me and I am outside of Canada.
My question is if I will get a new PPR? I assume not since my old visa sticker is not expired and will be valid for the entire duration of my next contract with the new employer. If anyone had the same situation as me?
I am applying for the US VAC (I am not a US Citizen), on the website it shows the processing time is 3 weeks but it has been almost 5 weeks and my application is still processing ( it shows they are processing my background check). the new contract start date has already been delayed and I have no idea what is happening.
