Hi , I am looking for an advise for Travel Document from India . Now I am in Toronto . I received my PR card in the month of June and due to some error in my card , I submitted my card CIC to re-issue a new PR card . However as per new processing time it take 150 days to reissue new PR card .
Due to some family urgency I have to travel India in the month of October without PR card .
Since it's my new permanent residency it can not be processed under urgent request . When I consult Canada Immigration they asked me to apply for Travel Document from out side of Canada ( Country where I am travelling ).
So ,I need your help how to apply Travel Document in India and what is the processing time to receive Travel Document . Because I will stay only 2 weeks in India . Kindly advise .
