Hi All,
I am currently in process of collecting documents for OINP. And I wanted to know about birth certificate.
I have to submit my certificate and it was in native language. I got it translated to English from India itself through Government officials. But the certificate says Copy of Birth Certificate. Is that ok?
It does have a stamp on it. Do i still need to get it notarized?
One more point. My husband has a different place of birth on passport than his birth certificate. To get it rectified in passport we need a court order from Indian court and give it to Embassy and get it done. But it will take atleast 2-3 weeks to get it done. (I have to send my documents before March 15. Received PT on 1st Feb)
For the OINP can i send what we have currently and then modify it later on, as he is not the primary applicant?
Please advice.
