Hi All,

I got my application package back yesterday. Apparently, I am missing a form (Additional Family Info) and they didn't accept he payment method I used (original receipt)- which I can easily fix.

My question is: Do I print out a whole new application or just send my original application package (with the missing doc)?

I am asking this because I am scared about the dates mismatch, meaning that they might say that I sent the application in September and the dates on the form are from August (when I first submitted my application). I might sound paranoid, but I am really pressed for time and i can't afford any more delays. Hence my questions.

Also, my employers didn't include the NOC in their letters. I included a list of the codes in a separate sheet. Is this okay or do these codes need to be in the reference letters? CIC didn't mention anything about the codes not being in the letters. But, again, I just want to double-check.

Thanks guys. You're much better than any lawyer out there!

Complete and print all the forms again. It might also be a good idea to get a new reference letter from your employer if you can do that easily. There is no requirement for employers to provide NOC on the letter, but it does make the VO's life easier.

Thanks!

I am very pressed for time, so I might have to send it all off without the codes in the letters. I listed the codes for them anyway to help them out.

Getting new letters might mean another week, and my visa expires on Nov 14. Just have no time to ask all my employers for this.

Thanks for the help and advice

Hi,
if all your forms are up to date (check up the CIC website) you may resend the old forms again.

@immigrantbee,

As nov1061 said, if all your forms are up to date, I don't see any reason why they won't accept it.

And just out of curiosity, when did you file your application (or when did CIO receive your application)?

I sent it August 1st. Only took them a month and a week to get back to me. Just hoping they go that quick now.

+1 for the info. So when they return your package, it's quicker than getting AOR.

What do you mean?

You got your package returned in 1 month 1 week. Right now it takes 55 days to receive AOR.

1 month 1 week < 55 days

That's good, because if they must return it, they better return it soon, before the cap is reached.

I am very nervous.
I really haven't got all that much time.
Hope to God they
Send me the AOR soon.

If your problem is the Visa Expiry, you can even apply for BOWP a while before you have actually received your AOR.
It usually takes a while for the officer to process your BOWP application from the time you submit it so if your AOR gets issued in the meanwhile, you would be fine. You should check other threads to get more info on how long does it actually takes for the VO to open your application after you submit it.

Just to give you some hope, application processing may speed up as summer is over and hopefully everybody is back to work. I remember about a month ago people were receiving AOR in 42 days and suddenly it increased to 60 days in August because it is the summer vacation time.

Just make sure to send your application ASAP and as you are under pressure, have somebody else to check the application. Don't forget any signatures as it is an absolute deal breaker.

Good Luck
