Hello All,

I am an April applicant, I got my PRR by end of November. I left Canada before PRR and had to send my Passport to Detroit for the landing visa and CoRP. Now that I have my passport back, I started looking for jobs in Canada and land soon. The other day I was shortlisted for a job. The question I have is

In my CoRP, the city of destination is 'Toronto'. Will I be able to land in a different city, say a different Providence (except Québec)?
The job offered is at Nova Scotia, can I work there ? Is there a restriction that I should only work in Ontario?

Please help!

A.

Thanks ihabkal,

I applied under CEC - In that case, will I be able to land directly and work in Nova Scotia?

under CIC regulations, permanent residents are allowed to work anywhere in Canada. Since you applied through CEC, you do fall under this regulation (only federal - quebec has own rules). So, yes, you can land and work anywhere you wish. Please see the below link for more info on permanent resident entitlements..

If you are in doubt about your status at any point, feel free to seek further guidance from CIC by calling them.
