Question regarding governments request for police check

I have applied for sponsorship with my partner in Canada.

I have done the police check in Canada but they wanted me to get one from my original country. I sent the documents to bermuda weeks ago, and paid for everything. I have not heard anything back, I have even emailed them but havent heard anything.

Is it possible to request extra time? Or will proving that everything has been sent to the police abroad be enough? What should I do? My deadline to submit is tomorrow :/

In the spot where you are supposed to upload the police certificate on your Gckey account, you can upload the receipt/proof that you submitted the request to Bermuda and a letter requesting more time. Then when you get the certificate back, you can submit it via a case specific inquiry on the IRCC web form.

They actually requested that I submit it via the case specific form already, I will do that and request additional time. thanks so much!
