Could some one shed light on the below questions for the digital photo post ITA?

1) Should the photo be printed physically according to the dimensions and does it then need to be scanned or the photo should be taken in digital format in the exact dimensions?

2) Since it is a digital photo, how do we provide the backpage of the photo where we are asked to print our Date of birth and the photographer's address?

1 - Either one is fine.

2 - That was a requirement for paper based applications not for express entry - you do not have to provide this.

On checklist the size is 35mm x 45 mm, whereas at some cic specs document its 50mm x 70mm. Which should be followed?

This confusion is very much valid, since two contrasting sets of information have been provided on the specs of digital photo.
On IRCC website, it says 50mm x 70mm. Whereas in the instructions next to digital photo upload, it mentions minimum 35x45 mm

As per the majority forum members and seniors who have submitted their e-APR, it is advised to stick with the instructions of 35x45mm

silly problem but i am not able to measure my head in the photo properly. What should i do?
It is advised to get it done from a photo studio, not on your own. Professional photographers will help you get it done.

35 mm x 45 mm is required for e-APR. (Digital photo for uploading)

50 mm x 70 mm is required after PPR. (Physical hard copy to be sent to your visa office)

i absolutely do not understand this confusion - you just need to READ the instructions on the post ITA document checklist, it clearly stats it should be 35 x 45mm digital photo, not less than 60k, ideally around 240k. as simple as that. i didnt even know about this 50-70mm pic thingy until i read this post :)

50-70mm question doesnt even come into the picture at this stage, just stick to DIGITAL photo, not less than 60k, 35mm x 45mm

and please get it done using a professional photographer in a studio... not worth getting your application rejected for a "picture"

good luck.

This mean you are not visiting IRCC website and reading instructions there. Kindly visit this below link and find the information for Digital photos:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp
Then even you will know what we are discussing here.

well my post ITA document checklist didnt ask me to goto IRCC website :) the instructions are crystal clear in the checklist... just follow that you will be fine.

to answer your question - the IRCC website photo requirement is for PPR, not eAPR. Different stages of application my friend ha ha :)

on a separate subject.
did you submit your application BTW ? how far along are you in process ?

This thread raises concerns in my mind now w.r.t the photograph I have submitted in eAPR. ???

As per the photograph specifications pdf on CIC website, it says that one needs to submit the back side of the photograph as well.

Accordingly, I have submitted the front & back side of the photograph as a PDF in eAPR.

Is this going to be problematic, considering seniors stating that eAPR & ITA photograph requirements are JPEG & hardcopy respectively.

Request a prompt response on the same.

Nothing to worry. Raise a CSE and submit the image in JPPEG/JPG format.

Shall do as suggested.

Just out of curiosity: Before i raise a CSE, wont this slight discrepancy lead to rejection of my application??
