Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the language requirement for citizenship.
Back in the past, I received my COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence) on March 29, 2022. After securing my PR, I requested a reevaluation of my CELPIP score on April 20, 2022, and the updated, increased score was issued on April 27, 2022.

The issue is that while I still have the original CELPIP test report, I no longer have the updated report from the reevaluation. As you know, CELPIP does not issue new copies after two years have passed. I understand that an expired CELPIP test can still be used for citizenship applications if it was previously used for PR.

However, in my case, the CELPIP report I initially used for my PR application may have been considered revoked due to my reevaluation request.

My questions are:

Was I required to report the reevaluation results to IRCC at the time of my PR application (considering the reevaluation happened after I received my COPR)?

For my citizenship application now, can I use the original CELPIP test report, even though it is expired and may have been affected by the reevaluation?

Thank you in advance for your help!

If your original score is enough for citizenship you can go ahead with the same.

The score itself is more than enough, but I am afraid that due to the reevaluation request, it may have been revoked and is no longer valid for IRCC.
When IRCC checks with CELPIP they would share the new information if needed. Revocation was for re-evaluation so easy to identify.
